Two on a Summer Afternoon

I painted these two on a warm June afternoon, trying to capture that unique summer sunlight. Notice the thunderhead peeking up over the trees in the top one. It turned into one of those intense summer storms with hail. You know, the ones that show up as a red blob on weather.com's satellite image.

The top image is 12" x 9" and the bottom is 6" x 6", oil on archival panel. If you are interested in purchasing either, email me or go to my Daily Paintworks gallery (see icon at top of this page).

"Break"

Every farmer needs a popsicle break. His grandson brought him the popsicle.

"Break", 11" x 17", archival pigment print, signed as an edition of 50, for $250 each. Other sizes also available upon request. Each image is printed on demand, so please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

"White Horse"

OK, so everyone has to take a magical white-horse-in-a-field photo. How could I resist such a classic scene? What I also like about this photo is the bright meandering trail leading into the distance, past that spot of sunlight behind the tree...and such a classic tree.

"White Horse", 11" x 17", archival pigment print, signed as an edition of 50, for $250 each. Other sizes also available upon request. Each image is printed on demand, so please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

A pampered pot-bellied pig, one of a pair of rescued pigs.

"Queue Up"

I also did a small painting of this scene.

Photos from My Friends' Farm

The Jacob sheep had just been sheared. Jacob sheep with their curling horns and spots look like a cross between holsteins, goats and sheep.

"Baaah", 11" x 17", archival pigment print, signed as an edition of 50.
